This Saturday, July 4th, as our nation celebrates its Independence Day, we’d like to encourage you to get involved by inviting you out to one of the hundreds of “Tea Party” protests taking place across America.

These modern “Tea Parties” were conceived earlier this year to protest: wasteful government spending, increases in taxation, misguided leadership at the local/state/federal levels of our government, blatant disregard and neglect of our Constitution by some elected officials, and government programs aimed at destroying American liberties and Capitalism and/or promoting Socialist ideals.

They are “non-partisan” in nature, as Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, (and others) alike, will gather together to be heard…as one. However, it must be noted that the MAJORITY of those in attendance will no doubt be conservative in their political affiliation and ideology.

These protests are all carried out through peaceful means by law-abiding citizens who love their country and the ideals which it was founded upon…including the right to express our grievances with the government through peaceful protests (guaranteed by the 1st Amendment to the Constitution).

Saturday’s festivities will, of course, also have a little extra patriotic flavor since they are being held in conjunction with 4th of July festivities.

There are “Tea Parties” scheduled in most major cities across America. To locate one near you, check out:
