“Revolution Calling”

Over the past few weeks, it has become increasingly obvious that more and more Americans are eager to express their opinions about the state of our nation. Whether Republican or Democrat, “Conservative” or “Liberal,” red or blue, young or old, it seems that everybody wants to be heard from these days.

Prior to the Presidential Election this past November, Liberals and Democrats made a great deal of noise and ultimately helped usher in the “change” that was promised by their guy, Barack Obama. However, since his inauguration in January, it has been the “other side” that has been the most vocal in expressing their opinions and displeasure with the current state of our nation. The recent wave of modern day “tea parties” by multiple Conservative groups is evidence of this truth.

No matter what “side” you choose to stand on, there has never been a better time than right now to let your voice be heard. The purpose of “The Thirsty Quill” is to provide our audience with a unique opportunity to engage in the political debates of the day from all ends of the philosophical spectrum.

Since our launch in early November, we have had many people participate here at ‘The Quill.’ Yet recently, it seems as though some of the ‘political fires’ that raged for so long (for so many) have been extinguished. Perhaps I am wrong in this assessment.

Regardless, we are always looking to publish articles and comments that are submitted by you, the readers of ‘The Quill.’ We are fairly ‘loose’ in regard to allowing our writers to choose their own topics, and of course, provide their own insight and opinions.

If you are interested in having your voice heard, or you’re just itching to vent and express yourself to a wide audience, feel free to submit your ideas and comments.

After all, that’s why we built this thing in the first place…

Remember, there are plenty of revolutions, movements, and interests out there that are in need of a good voice…

Our forefathers answered the call and created the greatest nation that the world has ever known.

I just hope that you’re listening when your own revolution comes calling…
