“Inauguration Update #9″

By: Josh McGrath, Columnist

(Tuesday morning 10:01 AM, LIVE from the National Mall)

I can’t say much this time. I can no longer feel my phone with my fingers. As preparation for today’s ceremonies, they are displaying all of the festivities from Sunday evening on the jumbo-trons. There are popular songs that I grew up with from artists such as Garth Brooks, U2, Usher, several childrens choirs, etc.

This experience is simply amazing. Everyone is gathered here together for unity. Trust me, there are a lot of us here!

I’ve been interviewed, videotaped, and photographed so many times this week by news organizations, that I can’t keep track of where my pretty face is supposed to show up!

I cannot fathom how many people are here. I don’t even think that people back home will ever consciously understand how many are here.

This is just incredible.
